We are in a world dominated by evil. Our daily life and living is buffeted by many challenges which sources are beyond ordinary human comprehension. That is why the Bible says,

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”(Ephesians 6:12)

And hence the Bible advises us thus,

“Wherefore, take unto you the whole armour of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”(Ephesians 6:13)

And we are commanded to,

“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness” (Ephesians 6:14)

The Bible text makes clarification and vivid description of the situation we may find ourselves in the course of life and identifies the actors on the stage at every step of progress in the journey of life.

In the quoted texts above we are exhorted to understand that the challenges we face and confront daily are not man-made but supernatural, projected and sustained by super human forces, identified as principalities, powers, rulers of the dark world and spiritual wickedness in exalted places..

With physical ability a simple man can do nothing to overcome the challenges but the leeway provided is for man to love God’s direction to gear up for the challenges. If you can keep loving God’s direction that will be your armour because the battle to overcome the challenges of life is not fought by the body of flesh and blood- the mere physical body of a human body.
