Manifest your possession. If you are rich let us see evidence of your wealth, if you are righteous show evidence of your righteousness through your words, deeds, thoughts and acts; show it.

In life you must belong to a support and focused group and the basic platform of belonging is religion. Hence, we have people who belong to Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, African Traditional Religion etcetera. Which religion do you belong to?

The importance of belonging cannot be undermined. Religion is an integral component of the cultural identity of an individual, community and society. It also forms the basis of cultural composition and colouration of a nation.Your religion is the Base upon which your spiritual foundation is built. The foundation is the root of your power.

The driving force of religion is belief. There are four elements that must be present before a religious group is formed. They are: belief in the religion, the mythology and mysteriology of the religion; that is stories and mysteries surrounding the religion which depict the presence and power of a supernatural being, deified and taken as the G(g)od, practise of the laws and commands of the G(g)od; and fourth, social organization of fellow believers. You make sure you are not alone in the belief thread, bring people together and grow together.

It is your belief in LGD that makes you to follow me. Secondly, there is the God that empowers and sustained our lives; on the third point, we are regularly encouraged and enjoined to practice the tenets and statues of LGD to become acquainted with the will of God because practice makes perfect. And fourthly, we gather here every Sunday to praise and worship the God of your belief. If you do not gather here and conform with simple administrative regulations it means you do not want this religion–LGDISM to grow.

You are convinced that there is God here and that is why you are here to fellowship with the God that provides for us, watches over us when we are sleeping, on the road driving He protects us from the vampire that summersault cars , when they see us our God drives them away to make our journey safe. When we sleep armed robbers roam about but they do not get near our house, is it not God?That God possessed you and when the G(g)od possesses you, you have the character of the G(g)od. One of the characters of God is love, peace and joy.

Whatever I say you believe it is right and you want to put it into practice, practice really makes perfect and for us to make our way in LGD perfect, we must practice the teachings we are given all the time. All this are part of the common vision to make the kingdom of LGD stand.

Righteousness is part of the ingredients that lubricate your belief. It is part of the customary requirements for conformity as members and adherent of the religion.

Therefore, every religion demands members to practice Righteousness to become holy, for you have to be holy because God is holy (Leveticus 2:2).But Satan is evil and whoever that follows Satan is evil. And how can we know these things? It is by our characters–do not let your character exhibit evil, when you exhibit evil you will be called a child of Satan. If you exhibit holiness, that is good behaviour, it means you are of God.Let us use the chant: Don’t lie, don’t steal, don’t deceive one another to summarise the charge and call to good behaviour.

When you practice these basic LGD injunctions, that you will not tell lies to your neighbours, you will not steal from your neighbours and you will not deceive your neighbours; these three commitments alone will lift you you up, make you know you are righteous but the moment you violate these key practices you would no longer be considered righteous.

By the command of Jesus Christ which says, Little children, let no man deceive you; he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as God is righteous (1John 3:7).

Sin is the act of breaking divine law. When I say do not lie, if you lie you have committed sin; when I say do not steal, if you steal you have committed sin; when I say do not deceive one another, if you deceive your neighbour you have committed sin.

But sin can be forgiven at any moment if you stop sinning–if you stop lying, if you stop stealing and if you stop deceiving people. However, what will not be forgiven is transgression. Sin is something you see and do, you conceive the idea in your mind and carry it out but you may later regret your action lamenting that you do not know the force that pushed you to carry out that act of sin.

The sinner regrets and apologises, he says I am sorry. But the man who transgresses has no apology in his mouth. He makes a boast of the transgression. He is arrogant of his demeanour. He says, this is my way, this is how I behave, if you are not comfortable and cannot tolerate me go away since if you cannot beat them you join them. He is a transgressor and he is hardened and unrepentant. He would say, let Oracle preach from here to Jericho I will not change.

I am a liar, I steal and I deceive people; that is who I am. If na die make I die, if na hell make I go hell. I don’t care what goes. That is a trangressor and transgression is direct route to hell.

Sin really has no power over you because it is something you can denounce any moment but transgression has an overwhelming power over you.In the pride and boast of the trangressor, he could decide to leave the church with an avowal not to change his character. But the sinner would promise to have a change of behaviour and that would give me hope that tomorrow, he will change to a better person.

The sinner could be polite and humble in realisation of his sinfullness and willingness to repent and have a change in behaviour. But the trangressor, apart from being arrogant, he contends with those seeking his salvation.

When the Man of God speaks he speaks, when Oracle stipulates regulations he too stipulates his own regulations. When you are told to come early to church to participate in Sunday School lessons where the word of God is taught, the transgressor says Oracle is on his own, “I will go to church at ten “.

Being an adherent of a religion demands that you would keep aside personal interests to uphold the calls and duties of the religious practice. Everybody should endeavour to be in the house of God on Sundays for worship. Do not forsake your Sunday worship of God for your private invitation to social parties. Do not prioritise naming, burial ceremonies and birthday parties to the worship of God on Sunday. If youb are serious in your religious commitment you must deny yourselves, your families and other associates and acquaintances of pleasure of your presence and attention.

Hence, Jesus Christ said, you would have to leave your father and your mother before you would be able to carry my Cross. The same way, if you want to follow Oracle and you have realised that it is true that religion keeps life and there must be G(g)od in such a religion and gratefully, you have that God in LGD, then be ready to practice the three key injunctions: don’t lie, don’t steal, don’t deceive one anothe
