Leader and founder of Love God’s Direction Power Ministry, Pastor Emmanuel Irame has admonished Christians and members of LGD not to forsake God for the sake of worldly possessions and pleasures.

In a sermon delivered mid-week, Wednesday, September 25, the Cleric said the last gospel of Christ centers on honouring God so that the people could rejoice.

According to him, the drive and vision of LGD is in sync with the tenets of the last gospel hence LGDists should make effort not to dishonor God by forsaking his worship and praise which promises manifold spiritual and physical blessings.

”The kingdom of God is for us to fear and honour God and this is the last gospel-Love God’s Direction preaches. God wants everyone to love his will and not to be dishonest and disobey him. If you make up your mind to do that, God will give you some signs and what are the signs? Sickness will disappear, pains will disappear, your enemies will be dying for you, the unemployed will be employed, and your business will be growing. But when these things come, don’t let your mission make you to lose sight of your vision.

He described mission as the strategic course of procedure mapped out to attain a set goal saying, “I am Oracle of the Most High God, I have some money which I use to actualize my vision of fearing and honouring God. But if because of the wealth I possess I become proud I would have let my mission over take my vision and then, I may not make heaven. That is why we have to be very wise so that we don’t allow our mission undo our vision. Because we are healthy then we forget God, because your dream of getting married has been fulfilled then you forget God and because your business is booming you chose not to have time for God any more. These blessings you have were given to you to have joy and so that until the day you die you would not forsake God and that is why you are admonished to dwell in the house of God all time. All those who dwell in the house of God will not be forsaken by God but when you refuse to dwell in the house of God you are the one who forsook God and when you do so then it was you that left God and you should not lament over the consequences of leaving God’s presence.

He said the act of forsaking God occurs in three stages of thoughts, words and deeds.

“Before you decide to forsake God you first think about it and imagine it in your heart. These thoughts and imaginations form the bedrock of sustaining or divorcing your relationship with God. The moment you muse and express thoughts of being tired of going to church or fellowship with LGD, you have already forsaken God in your heart.

“When you complain of economic hardship as you have not sold anything for a while and casts doubt on the ability of God to turn things around, you belittle and profane God’s intervention in your economic situation, you have forsaken God in your speech. You profane and belittle God as you spoke and the agents of Satan would be happy and say look at this one who trust in God. You forsake God by deeds when you do not encourage others to go to church; you encourage them to lose faith in LGD. It was not GOD that forsook you. You forsook God. God is faithful; when he promised to give salvation he gives it and will not remove salvation from you unless by your thoughts, words and deeds you remove yourself from the salvation of God. It is only human being that is not faithful, LGD God is faithful. The things of the world are full of temptation and anybody can be a victim but you should be wise and call yourself back.

“Don’t let your business take you away from God. Don’t let your marriage or health take you away from God because Satan will touch everything for you to break relationship with God and you break relationship with God by thoughts, words and deeds. But God will give us the grace and wisdom to manage this physical and spiritual situation for those that set their hearts and mind in spirit shall see light. Those who set their hearts in material wealth of the world will lose their lives. These things we talk about, business and wealth, one day you will die but for these things you suffered yourself so much because of your children whereas what your children have are bigger than yours, they are more wealthy and do not have enough time to manage their wealth and when this happens, your enemies who wanted you dead would enjoy your wealth. At the end you get to the gate of Judgment and explain that you were not faithful to God because of your business; the angels would ask about that your business and when you turn around there would be no business outfit and then you would be ordered to go to hell. Would you be happy at that? You may not know those who would be enjoying your wealth, they may be among those who hated you, who blasphemed you, those who maligned and belittled you as nobody; they are the ones who would come as brothers and sisters and want to inherit your business. Your soul will be crying that because of money you kept me in hell and your body will be decaying on the ground. That I and my ego will go to the ground after I have sold the soul to hell in satisfaction of lust of the body-man must wear clothes, man must wack etc.

“If you do not forsake and disgrace God, God will fight your battles. We don’t need to pray, we don’t need prayers, we will only pray for forgiveness of sins because our minds are always diverted and pervert. We don’t need prayers, all you need is to acknowledge that you are a child of God and such you have to do all to honour and glorify God because the whole battle is centered on the contention to fear and honour God. And that is the last and final gospel.

If you are an LGDist rejoice as stated in Deutoronomy 32: 43-44 which says, “Rejoice O ye nations, with his people, for he will avenge the blood of her servant and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land and to his people.

“And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.

“I have spoken to you the same words Moses spoke to the people saying, rejoice because the battle is not yours, it is God’s business. Fear is not of God. The moment fear enters your heart Satan comes in and two people cannot occupy your heart at the same time. Fear and faithfulness, fear and courage cannot  be together. I am determined to be an Oracle therefore I am courageous. If you are determined to be an LGDist don’t be discouraged. If you show courage God will be with you. As I speak the kingdom of darkness is hearing and my God is hearing and the angels are here to fight your battles for you. So what are you afraid of? Who is your adversary? My God will destroy them for you and will have mercy on your land and whoever lives there will be saved; your children and everybody will be saved.
