Founder and leader of LGD, Pastor Emmanuel Irame gave the command in a New Year exhortation,  assuring that in the year 2025,  there is so much economic fortunes for LGDists who would venture to carry out economic activities in areas of economic advantage,  rather than sitting at home and expecting financial breakthrough. Referencing Isaiah 32;20 which says, “Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the Ox and the Ass” , the Cleric  said;”This year is a year that we should not tie our legs down, this is a year that we will seek out anywhere that is fertile, any business  that promises to be lucrative. Wherever there is water the area is fertile,  I therefore command you to go and look for that business  that will prosper you at the end of the year when you do a harvest. “In those days, the Ox and Ass were used by man to till the ground but these days people use their hands and tools to work. If you tie your hands or your economic tools down and hope for God’s blessings such hope will be forlorn because the God of LGD is not a magician. “Your blessings are in your hands. If you have a car for transport, let it move,  put it on the road for transport, don’t tie it down in your compound and God will bless your endeavours. “If you have a skill in electrical appliances and installation,  mechanical engineering,  carpentry,  farming, sales and marketing; any skill at all, go out and put it to use.”There should be no excuse for not working.  Go and do something. If it is plantain you want to roast, go ahead. If it is pure water you want to sell, go ahead. Go on with humility and God will raise you up. There should be no excuse.  Go out in the morning  and come back in the evening.  God will be your companion and your daily bread will be assured. “As you go on your economic ventures endeavour to walk on the path of righteousness by maintaining peace with all your strength and avoid quarrels. “If your neighbours offend you do the best to hold the peace, that will set you apart as an LGDist. But if you chose the path of revenge, do me I do you, then you are no longer an LGDist.”If you establish righteousness evil will not come near you. No tongue will rise against you in judgement, even in the coven it cannot work against you.  Even though you walk on serpent it will not hurt you because you walk on the path of righteousness. “If you can maintain peace there shall be prosperity on your path. Most of the problems we have come from our utterances, impatience, anger etc. If you are calm and gentle nothing will shake you. Trouble will be far from you. Whatever will bring peace maintain it, anything that will bring trouble avoid it.And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever. (Isaiah 32:17).
