The governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has been admonished to be completely  committed to the welfare of  citizens of the state so that he could enjoy his tenure, and possibly  more, in due time.

Founder and Leader of LGDISM, Pastor Emmanuel Irame gave the admonition during a live sermon in the Auditorium of Love God’s Direction Church, Warri penultimate weekend.

He warned that should the Governor  deviate from the course of full commitment  to the welfare of Deltans and chose to engage in selfish desires, he would regret his actions.

He said he got a revelation from God that should Governor Sheriff toe the path of selfish agrandizement, a strong political opponent shall arise from his own political party to challenge his re election  and the consequences of that contention  would be dire.

” We pray to God to help him so that any spirit of selfish desires that would prevail on him should be cast away and the desire for the general good will rule his heart so that by the next election, he would get needed support  from the people of the state.

” I am not saying that the government of Oborevwori is  bad, I am only  saying that there are some things that he has to put in place , especially  his heart. ” What is he thinking? Is he thinking about the welfare of the people and citizens of Delta State or about his personal interests and welfare.  If it is personal, he is going to have trouble. But if his thinking is for the good of citizens of Delta State, the people  will support him in subsequent elections and he can even become a president in future.” Pastor Irame said.
