Wife of founder of LGD, Pastor Mrs Lydia Irame has reiterated the charge for LGDists in particular and Christians in general to develop and maintain faith in all their endeavours.

Preaching at the auditorium of the LGD Secretariat penultimate week, the woman of God recalled the Apostle Paul and Oracle of the Most High God, Pastor Emmanuel Irame preachment about faith as one of the armour of God.

In citation of Hebrews 11:1 which says, “Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” she said the text  provided sufficiency in definition of the concept adding that “without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6).

She recounted many great men of biblical record who did mighty things and admonished that when one has faith as was the case of Sarah who was a barren but became happy mother of a child because she judged God faithful who hath promised her the birth of a child.

“Sarah judged God faithful because she knew that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that she asked and thought according to her faith.

“Faith can move a mountain that is why we are exhorted to above all, take the shield of faith and no matter what the devil says and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God to combat and overcome the vicissitudes of life. You must equip yourself with the word of God to be able to withstand every fiery dart of the devil. Tell your challenges that God is bigger than them and with faith you can move mountain.

“Abraham at the age of 75 believed God and waited for 25 years before giving birth to Isaac at the age of 100.

“Have faith, believe God that he can do it, there is nothing you cannot do, all you need to do is put faith, believe God, hold onto the word of God and use the word of God to tell the devil he is a liar that your God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you ask or think according to your faith.

“In this month of armour of God faith is number one. Have faith and those mountains on your way will move. Have faith, even as small as a mustard seed and you will command those mountains and they will move. There is nothing faith cannot do. When somebody says you cannot send your children abroad tell that devil he is a liar. No matter how hard the economy of the country looks you are going to pass through. Your God is able to do it,  all you need to do is have faith, trust in God, eradicate any negative thought, change your mindset, see impossibility as possible, know that it is God that decrees a thing and it shall be established.

“When they say the ember months are dangerous declare to yourself that you will not die but live to declare the glory of the Lord. Know it that no weapon fashion against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises in judgment against you shall be condemned; hear the word of God, put on the helmet of salvation, add this to your faith, trust in the word and you can overcome every challenge be it health, finance, marriage etc. Believe in the word of God and you will not die.

“Whatever you are passing through our God is there for you and all you need to do is have faith in God, believe God and there is nothing you cannot do. We are the image of God, we were fearfully and wonderfully made, we are the apple of God’s eye and hence, we are gods, made a little lower than the angels. We are the last creature.

“If Sarah can give birth in old age, even Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist, what is that thing that you cannot do? Believe and you shall be established and prosper. Whatever you do, in your business have faith in God and you will make it. Trust in God in any situation you are passing through, I tell you that the God of LGD is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all things that you ask and think; all you need to do is trust him.”

“If somebody gives you a vision that you will die tell the person you will not die because God has ransomed you from the powers of death, he will destroy death for my sake (2 Corinthians 2); Jesus collected the keys of life and death and made a public show of Satan the devil. Only if you believe and have faith; and as you do that may God bless you and grant you your heart desires and the heavens,  and all doors of prosperity shall be opened for you.”
