Christians have been admonished to show determination and courage to muster strength in holding and raising up the banner of Christ so that they could defeat their enemies and the many challenges of life.

Pastor Emmanuel Irame, Leader of LGD gave the admonition in a recent sermon he delivered at the LGD Church secretariat.

He recalled the biblical episode when Moses encountered the Amalakites in a war and at the end of the battle, Moses built an altar and called it the banner of God to acknowledge the power of God and appreciate that it was God that made them win the battle.

He informed that while in captivity, Egypt never allowed the Israelites to fashion any weapon for fear that they may revolt. Whenever there was a construction work involving iron smelting and foundry in Egypt the Israelites were not allowed to access the site, the best they could do was manual labour, to carry concrete to build a house and any other menial job, but to manufacture any instrument of war like an arrow, they were not allowed. So the Israelites left Egypt without an arrow or any weapon of war and faced different wars from different nations and prevailed because God was with them especially when they fought that war with the Amalikites, Israel concluded that it was God that made them win the battle. There was the time during the battle when Moses raised up his hands and the Amalikites were dying and Israel prevailed but when he was tired and lowered his hands the Amalikites would prevail. Aaron and Hor observed that something spiritual was going on and noted that God was doing something. They had to get a seat for Moses and both of them held the two hands of Moses, one to one, and lifted up the hands from morning till evening until they won the battle. Thereon, they built an altar and called it the Banner of God.

You should know that a banner also means a flag. A flag that signifies the authority and power of a nation is not put on the ground but hoisted for all to see. Moses knew that he was raising the banner of God up in his mind. He acknowledged that it was God that delivered them from Egypt. Though physically Moses raised his hands but in his heart he was carrying the banner of God. After the battle he shared the testimony with the Israelites that when he raised his hands up he was carrying the banner of God where he set his mind. The people did not see a banner, yes because, God is a spirit. The oil of grace we administer and cause miracle to happen and heal people has been there spiritually until it was brought to physical view. I, the Oracle of God have been here physically but God still uses me spiritually in your dream and that is why some people who I don’t know, even as far as Portharcourt testify that they see me in their dreams. God uses me as a rod to fight this battle of end time. God is anywhere; God is in your body. God is in the book I wrote, ‘The Doctrine of LGDISM Explained’. If you raise it as a banner it is your power. A banner is an indicator and perfectly represents what it indicates if it is a human being, spirit or a power. If the book is a banner, it is a power of power. When you open the book you read me because what is in my heart is in the book. What you read is what God told me, how God called me, how I accepted God’s call and the way the power of God works. Anybody who doubts me should read the book and see the power of what  God has started doing. He is going to put a banner to the world because the world is corrupt. One thing that banner also does is it shows respect. LGD stickers are a banner. A banner can only stand when you win victory but it loses the battle if it is felled. When a banner stands it means life and when it drops there is danger. That is why when Moses held his hands up and imagined that he held a banner the Israelites were winning and when he dropped his hands the Amalikites were winning. When your banner is lowered it means your enemy is prevailing over you in the battle of life. So you should determine when to hold your banner and muster the courage to raise your banner still. It is easier to hold the banner but more difficult to sustain raising it because your hands will be weak as your strength and courage drop.

Your banner is your crown. Don’t let anyone take your crown. Your salvation is your banner too. Hold on to your salvation, lift it up by rejoicing, don’t be depressed and set your banner down. Anything that you put your mind on is your banner; the person you turn to is your banner. When you wake up and your imagination is LGD Secretariat it is your banner, a meeting place, a beacon, a corner stone. No matter what you build you cannot build over it. Your way of life, don’t let it cover LGD. Don’t build over LGD. Make sure LGD is clear to you. LGD is a gate of heaven and God has done it for us this is the headquarters. In the book of Isaiah 11:12 it is written, “He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth.”

Those the enemy has captured and enslaved God will show LGD to them and they will come from all over the world and enter into LGD.

You are children of God and you should help our father to raise the banner of God. When Moses raised the banner and his hands got weak, his followers did something to support Moses so that other people will not perish. Moses was getting old what of the young ones; instead of the Army of Israel to die let us hold the hands of Moses. They supported Moses; they did not mock him that he was getting weak. Don’t laugh at me that I am losing strength. What I fight at night till dawn you don’t know-deities, demons, Lucifer. We fight battle till daybreak. The book, ‘The Doctrines of LGDISM Explained’ should be a physical banner to LGDists, it is a book of victory and the enemy knows. Put it in your bag they know you carry something with light. Light shows sign of victory, darkness hides itself because of shame. Your enemies have been put down because God has fought the battle. The battles God sent me to fight are inside the book, check it and you find them. No matter what the problem is keep this book as your banner; you will have victories over sickness, poverty, sorrow, death. It means it is a victorious book. God cannot change his mind.
