Leader and founder of LGD, Pastor Emmanuel Irame has called on LGDists to humble themselves in the face of the prevailing global unrest which portend a sign of the end times.

In a sermon delivered last Sunday at the church auditorium, the Cleric said the socio-economic crises tossing the world in present times is an indication of the end of time and that the only panacea to the threatening situation is humility before God, and that entails obeying the laws of God and doing his will absolutely.

He warned that false prophets and others who make merchandize of the name of God will be disgraced and exposed and that the only way men could get freedom and salvation in the difficult times ahead was to humble themselves before God.

“Remember that when you have the mark of God you are safe but when you have the mark of Satan you are not safe because Satan came to steal, kill and destroy but Christ came that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Those who bear the mark of Satan are slaves to him but those who bear the mark of God are indigenes of the heavenly kingdom, sons and heirs of the kingdom of God.

“This is the time of battle between those bearing the mark of God and those bearing the mark of Satan. These are evil times, the time of judgement; the time evil spirits have taken over the whole world. It is a time of destruction which compares to removing a bad appliance and renewing the space with another.

“If you have spiritual eyes you would understand that the times are evil. A time evil spirits have taken over the whole world to cause havoc and God let them because their victims disobeyed God when they left the cover and presence of God and entered the world. So God allowed the evil spirits to destroy them.

“ It is time for destruction and repair. Before you get a good thing you remove the bad thing first before you get gold you remove every impurity around it. God is washing evil out of the earth. Therefore, this is the time men need to be humble and not proud. If you know that you are not firm in your faith, don’t let God wash you out. If you have no self confidence in what and who you are, if you are always afraid then you should know that something is wrong and you should not pretend. A humble person does not pretend only the proud do so.

In the book of 1 Kings 21:29; God stressed on the importance of humility and the accompanying benefits of being humble.

“Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? Because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days but in his son’s days will I bring the evil upon his home.”

The Cleric in a terse interpretation of that text informed that not all evil situations proceed from Satan but that sometimes, God brings evil to punish the proud.

He warned that for the sake of humility demonstrated by King Ahab before God, the punishment prepared as a recompense for his sins was put forward to the era of his son, should that child continue to disobey God.

“When you see evil do not always blame Satan. God can bring evil upon you if you don’t humble yourself. Ahab humbled himself before God and the evil that God meant to afflict him was not brought to him but to his son if he continued to be proud and disobedient. That is why it is proper and beneficial for you to train your child in the way he should go so that when he is old he would not depart from it. And if he departs from the way God would bring evil to that child which would not be the desire of any parent.

“Therefore, humble yourself. If an elderly man could humble himself to be saved then who are you not to humble yourself? Believe and obey. This is not the time of many prayers. It is the time of battle. If you don’t have power to fight battle, then believe and humble yourself. When you make those loud sounds and carry out those acrobatic displays commanding Satan to die by fire, binding Satan and making so many funny declarations on Satan and his agents, Satan looks at you and in jest and mockery says, see who is talking. You of all people; a fellow in sin and man of immorality. This one that possesses all attributes of my character; you work for the progress of my kingdom-a fornicator, adulterer, thief, murderer and what have you.

“The Devil knows that this is the time of apocalypse associated with catastrophe and hence, he no longer tolerates and shield hypocrites and double standard men. It is not the time of allowing you to deceive the people any more with your fake prayers and assurances which I allowed so that membership of your church could increase.

“They open churches with all their evil and wickedness, they pray and miracles happen and they cover up themselves. But this is not the time of cover up. If you are a false prophet and false member God will disgrace you. Your prayers will not save you this time. The only way to salvation is to humble yourself to God, to follow the will of God. Time of cover up is gone. This is the time to make open everything that is hidden and sealed. All that is covered will be opened. All that was done in darkness of night will be brought to the light of day. LGD is light, Oracle is in light and in the face of Oracle every hidden thing will be manifested in the open. That your whisper at night in your inner room will be broadcast at the rooftop of LGD. This is the era of LGD, era of revelation and exposure; it is not the era of cover up.

“I represent the God of truth and light who says yes and not no thereafter. He is my ever present help, God of yesterday, today and forever. He does not swallow his words. My God is not a God of errors. Error is of Satan, if you are making error you are serving Satan, Error lead people into hell. Let us repent. This is not the time of arrogance. This is the time of humility. If you are not humble you cannot call the name of God. Can’t you see the goodness of humility? It is your humbleness that will give you good health, increase your finances, take you to heaven, and your humbleness is your armour.

“Don’t begin to ask God to restore you. Restore yourself because God restored you from the first day you came to the house of God. God is not a man that he should change. God who restored you the day you came to church should not be disturbed for restoration again. We come to church to restore ourselves. How can God restore your humbleness? He is not a God of oppression. He will not force you to be humble. It is your obligation to be humble. You should determine to restore yourself, check your character. In the midnight wake up and ask yourself where you could have erred and displayed pride.

Don’t be too proud. Some people think pride is by being cocky and raising shoulders. No! Satan does not use that as bait. Satan is a crafty and cunning man-everybody knows him so. He is deceiver. Satan humbles himself. The real Lucifer does not paraded wealth. The one who is wealthy is proud and shows off at police stations and other public places. But the real Satanist will kill you and you are feeding him. He will destroy you to the end and he is washing your plates. She may be your house girl. And such are more powerful that the rich people in the kingdom of darkness. This is because Satan came to steal, to kill and to destroy.

“This is the end time and you must humble yourself. Without humility you cannot love your neighbor. When you love you cannot be proud or arrogant. This means that it is humbleness that controls love and it is stated that love is of highest virtue but I say humility ranks top. If you have the spirit of humility Satan will not get near you. Many problems we find ourselves originate from pride. Your enemies fight you because of pride. He wants to take over what belongs to you. If you are sick you would not be able to raise your shoulder. If you are poor you would bow down. So, the battle is to humble you and the bible says those who are proud will be humbled and God hates and resists the proud and arrogant but raises up the humble. So if you want to be raised, humble yourself but if you raise yourself by yourself, God will put you down. If you can put yourself down and commit yourself to God, God will hold you and lift you up.
