The proclamation that the kingdom of God is at hand is an old age saying even in the times of Jesus Christ.

The statement simply means that only the concerned individual has the capacity and pleasure to attain that kingdom of God by his personal efforts and work of his hands.

There is no day that the world would be ended absolutely for the kingdom of God to come as expectedly proclaimed. Rather, the day a person dies that is the day his world comes to an end and that is when it would be determined if he would have access to the kingdom of God or not.

But you must realize that while alive you wasted opportunities to do good, you refused to make yourself available as a vessel for sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. And you love to enjoy life but failed to love God’s direction as you lived when you did not know what the future held in stock and hence, we give the injunction: love God’s direction today for tomorrow may be too late.

If you cannot live as a subject of the kingdom of heaven on earth you would not live as a subject of the kingdom of earth in heaven. If  human being cannot live in  the kingdom of heaven on earth he has no right to live in the kingdom of earth in heaven. And the kingdom of earth is to do right while the kingdom of God on earth is to love just RIGHT and hate just WRONG.

The kingdom of earth could be further described as being humble with positive motive, loyal, faithful, honest and love RIGHT and hate WRONG. It is all about LGD and LGD means love God’s direction and that is the source of power that is eternal.

So, our purpose of coming to church is to live the kingdom of heaven here on earth and that is why we say and share the Lord’s Prayer: “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name ….”.  That is our prayer and desire.

We need to prepare ourselves for that desire. When we put to practice the command to live just right and hate just wrong, we are making preparation to live as subjects of the kingdom of heaven on earth. But we must be committed in the charge not exhibition of rhetorics. If you say you love the Oracle demonstrate it, if you say you are an LGDist prove it by regular attendance of church and church activities so that this year we would be assured of results in whatever we do.

We need to prepare for whatever task we set for ourselves. Don’t just jump into action without planning. If you want to enter a river you have to calculate and carefully decide the spot you would start from. Whatever you do you have to plan the strategy for achieving your set goals. Therefore, in this year we will get assurance of what we expect from God but in the first  instance, are you sure of yourself? Are you prepared? God has already prepared himself for you all you need do is to be faithful to him and he will be with you.

Prepare with your heart and sing songs of praise to God. With that the saying of many prayers would no longer be needed. If you fear God you do not need many prayers. What does it take to fear God? To fear God, stand for the token of God which is the man of God and the body of Christ. Stand by the church; if you need power, love God’s direction, that’s all.

If you do not love me and you don’t love the church and it’s activities it means you do not love God’s direction.

Prepare yourself for your business, your work, your marriage and whatsoever you plan to do just as God has already prepared for us all and he will not let you down so long you make God your refuge.

That is why the Psalmist said: ” Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble; thou wilt prepare their heart, thou will cause thine ear to hear. (Psalm 10:17)

If you are prepared, before you ask anything in prayer God has heard and will answer you promptly because you are humble.

The whole essence would be to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may  no more oppress. (Psalm 10: 18).

God will fight those that oppress you, to release victims of oppression by spiritual husbands, spiritual wives, etc from the earth. This vogue of oppression prevail when one is sick, family members die repeatedly, business going down, dejection and distress and confusion. But whoen God fights for you he will remove the oppression and he will do that by LGD Pwer.
